Description   Lan-Cay M11 A1 Lightweight Multi-Purpose EOD Knife System With Belt Clip Scabbard and EOD Tool Pac (Pouch) This new Lan-Cay model weighs 15% less then the standard M11. The lighter weight is achieved by using a special high grade stainless steel alloy with aluminum interior components. Six holes in the blade lighten weight as well, yet do not compromise the integrity of the blade. Performance and balance are exceptional with this new model. Specifications: • Weight - 20.2 oz. • Interior components made of 7075 aircraft grade aluminum • 7 Inch blade (18 centimeters) • 12 1/8 inches overall (30 centimeters) • Blade thickness -.235 , forged 420 mod. stainless steel • Modified stainless steel alloy blade • Cross-guard is all aluminum , NOT steel • Six weight reduction holes • Wire cutter hole • Milled sawteeth on backside of blade. Comes standard with EOD Tool Pac, (Tools not included) but may be purchased without the Tool Pac. While the M11 Knife System was designed for bomb disposal technicians, it has application across many disciplines. It is a multi-function tool that offers unequaled versatility. The blade can cut wood, aluminum or ½ inch rebar. The scabbard contains a cutter plate which can serve as a screwdriver or when used with the knife blade can cut barbed wire or chain link fencing. The M11 also features a symmetrical cross-guard and hammer pommel. The M11 can service not only the military and law enforcement fields, but those who work in various construction and maritime trades, search and rescue, land clearing and landscaping, logging and farming occupations. It can be purchased with or without the tool pouch.
